History and Education:
Melissa Chehade was born near Boston, Massachusetts but grew up all over the western US: Idaho, California, Hawaii, and Washington State. She obtained her Associate's Degree in Nursing from Everett Community College in Everett, Washington, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Washington. She primarily worked in emergency departments in Washington and Colorado before working as the Nurse Manager of a non-profit medical clinic. After 12 years working as an RN, she returned to school at the University of Wyoming (Go Pokes!) where she earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice. She was then certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Professional Interests:
Melissa is passionate about educating and empowering patients, working closely with individuals and families to develop personalized care plans that address their unique health needs. She strives to foster strong, trusting relationships with patients, ensuring they feel heard, respected and supported throughout their healthcare journey.
Personal Interests:
When she is not seeing patients, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband, Mic, and their three children, Eliza, Gabe and Judah. Outside of work she enjoys hiking, skiing, camping, traveling and volunteering at church and her kids' school.
